Summer temporary position for nurse - specialized palliative teams in Avesta, Mora, Malung, Falun, Rättvik, Borlänge, and Ludvika!

Do you want a summer job that truly makes a difference? At Region Dalarna, you will work in specialized palliative care - in close collaboration with patients, relatives, and dedicated colleagues. The specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a county-wide clinic with seven multiprofessional teams covering the entire region. We are now looking for nurses for several of our palliative teams ahead of the summer. The teams consist of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. Dietitians and chaplains are available as needed. Teamwork is the foundation of our operations, and we work person-centered with a focus on safety, quality, and continuity.

As a nurse with us, you will work with specialized palliative care in the patient's home. You will meet patients of all ages with various diagnoses and complex symptoms. Your responsibilities include:

• Assessment and planning of care based on the patient's needs and health status.
• Medical technology and nursing, such as managing central lines, drainage, and medication administration via pump.
• Symptom relief and support for patients and relatives.
• Collaboration in a team with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to create safe and cohesive care.
• Independent work with great responsibility and freedom - you plan your day and spend a large part of your time on home visits.

The work is both personally developing and challenging, requiring the ability to meet people in difficult situations with empathy and security.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Driver's license B

Desirable:

• Experience in palliative care
